EXPULSION POLICY
Unfortunately, our daycare may not always be the best fit for your child. For various reasons, children do not always adapt to one center whereas they might do better in a different facility. Different environments, different approaches by caregivers, different peers, etc. , including the child's own temperament and background, will all affect a child's adaptability.

We believe in using a "gentle approach." We will do everything within our capability to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment that will help promote the social/emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each child's unique needs. We are aware that every child is completely different in temperament and adaptability and will provide ample time and will consult with your daily on helpful techniques, and if need be, we will help locate specialized services. In regard to behavioral concerns, in particular if there are safety concerns regarding other children in our care, we will request a family meeting or meetings as need be.

Under no circumstances will a child or family be excluded from the program on the basis of race, gender, individual needs, socioeconomic status, appearance, religion, or cultural background. However, with all things considered, if it is determined that our center is not the best fit for your child, if we are unable to adequately meet his/her needs, or if he/she is unable to adapt, after a reasonable length of time that will include documentation of various interventions, we reserve the right to request that alternative childcare is sought. In this event, we will provide a written 2 week notice request.

Likewise, if you as a parent/caregiver, decide to withdraw for the above reasons, we request at least a 2 week notice of withdrawal (please see withdrawal and tuition policies).
